Incredible, omakase dinner with an even better experience with Chef Nick. Entire experience was unlike any other I’ve had - and I’ve been to many of the best omakase places here in NYC. Chef Nick was so knowledgeable and made the dinner while explaining every dish. Fish was incredibly fresh - and rice was made steamed in the best way possible. Amazing! 10/10

I went the other day after booking the omakase experience. I have to say, stunning. I got there a little early for the 6pm session, and was seated at the bar while the chefs got ready. The whiskey selection is incredible and unique, the wine and sake are plentiful and the cocktails are carefully constructed. I was seat at a bar setup with three others and proceeded to have the time of my life. Both chefs were fun, lovely and knowledgeable. All the dishes were crafted with a kind of skill that you have to see to believe. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and am already recommending this place. I understand why Michelin is eyeing this place

Enso Omakase is a beautifully designed spot with a stunning atmosphere that enhances the dining experience. However, some aspects left us feeling like the price didn’t fully justify the evening. The cocktails were exceptional—definitely a highlight—but some of the tastings felt fairly generic and lacked the creativity you’d expect at this price point. On the plus side, the restaurant has a lovely backyard, which we’re excited to try out in the summer. Overall, Enso delivers on atmosphere and drinks, but the food didn’t quite live up to the premium price tag. It’s worth a visit, but temper your expectations.

Have dined at Enso three times with family, and have loved the experience each time. We only have experience with the countertop menu so I can’t speak to the lounge menu and its service. The fish is the freshest we’ve had in New York, and the overall level of professionalism and dedication to omakase is next to none. The service by Chef Nick Wang and his team is impeccable and we always have a great time here. Highly recommend if you’d like to have an omakase experience that’s akin to one you’d find in Japan.

Incredible all-around true Japanese omakase experience, felt like I was in Tokyo for the evening. Every dish was fantastic and I loved how well everything was explained and how clear the chefs were about everything we were eating. Chef/owner Nick is extremely passionate about his craft. From the seasonal fish, to the knives he picked up in Japan, to the interior design of the whole place, he loves all of it and is very proud to share it with customers. Hearing him speak so passionately about his craft is inspiring and was worth the price of admission alone. I look forward to going back!

The service and atmosphere at Enso is exceptional. We thoroughly enjoyed the chef's table omakase experience since the passion of Chef Nick and Takeshi shined vibrantly through their bespoke tableware and seasonal items. On top of that they are both very interesting people as you'll find out when you sit at their table. Byron and Freddy were also so nice and helped us appreciate our creative cocktails. I loved the highball Akari- v refreshing. We enjoyed being educated on the each of the 16 pieces and the interactive conversational style of the meal where we all felt like friends. Just a note- with a cocktail, the 16 course chef's table meal is about 285 pp after tax and tip. The experience is really unparalleled and we thought it was wonderful for a special occasion- many personal touches to make it memorable. But- if you're looking for a deal/ I think the price of the bar and cocktail lounge 12 course tasting meal (95 pp) is more worthy. Hopefully you get to try their hojicha cream dessert- it was amazing.

Just went here with three friends and had an absolutely incredible experience. From the moment you walk in you can tell how much care and intention went into every detail. Beautiful atmosphere, thoughtful design and a really special vibe overall. Music was vibey and relaxing. It doesn’t feel like you’re in Brooklyn, more like you’ve been transported somewhere quiet and far far away. The experience felt authentic from start to finish and the servers were incredibly knowledgeable and attentive without being overbearing. Super friendly Chef Nick Wang was both warm and professional and the food was easily some of the best I’ve ever had. The bar in the back is also amazing and we even had the option to buy a bottle of whiskey and store it at the restaurant to enjoy on future visits, which was such a cool touch. Never seen that before. Couldn’t recommend this place more. Already looking forward to coming back.

Such an incredible meal and experience that transports you out of Brooklyn. We booked the Chefs Counter and while it's a bit pricey, 100% worth it. Every single bite was packed with flavor. The hospitality was remarkable and made everything that much more enjoyable. Looking forward to my next visit already!
